PC’ver Remote Manager Option
The Remote Manager's powerful features allow for remote configuration of any PC’ver running on the network. Remote Manager will self-discover PC’ver sessions on the network, and will provide the ability to control the DIS parameters of each radio and intercom, PC’ver configurations, radio settings and modes, and intercom channels.
PC’ver Remote Manager is a paid software add-on.
Host Control Option
PC’ver installations can be remotely controlled over the network via UDP packets from a customer's host computer, just like ASTi's DACS and Telestra systems. Host control is a paid software add-on.
Footswitch PTT Option
The footswitch works in parallel with the Radius USB device's PTT switch providing the ability to use either the built-in or foot switch, or both simultaneously to key the microphone. The footswitch option comes with a Boss Footswitch and a standard 10-foot cable with a 3.5 millimeter mono connection plug. The Radius module with the footswitch option includes a 3.5 millimeter mono jack next to the USB connector on the bottom of the unit.
Customer-Designed Control GUI
The default PC’ver package actually runs as two separate applications: the standard control GUI, and the PC’ver Stub which handles all the actual communications functionality. Details of the protocol between the PC’ver Stub and the standard control GUI are available upon request. Engineering support necessary for the development of a customer-designed control GUI is not included as part of the PC’ver package, but can be purchased separately. To aid the development of a custom control GUI, however, both the PC’ver Stub and standard GUI applications provide built-in diagnostic facilities to monitor the message exchange between the applications.
